Thoughts on Debt

Bert and I have been doing a lot of planning around getting rid of our debt. We only have our mortgage and my school loans so we are not as bad off as some but the debt still seems insurmountable. When talking to people they refer to our debt as "good debt" which is an odd way to look at it. I think of it more as we spend most of our money on interest which is actually nothing. It is a hard thing to choose between living in the now and spending our resources on adventures or taking all our money and sinking it into our debt. I know the answer is somewhere in the middle. I just wish I knew where.
